Creating Better Franchise Systems

Most quality franchise systems live the advice they give their franchisees... learn more about the industry and general business principals and you'll be more successful.

When you're talking to a franchise salesman, don't hesitate to ask them if they are members of the International Franchise Association or one of their many local affiliates. If they're not, it may reflect an attitude that they "know all they need to know." In these rapidly changing times, that's not too comforting.

The Southeast Franchise Forum is based in Atlanta and now has close to 100 members attending its monthly meetings to enjoy networking with other executives in the franchising community and to learn more from their speaker.

If you know of some in the region, you should suggest that they investigate the benefits of membership and starting at their website is a great idea.
